Course Description

The course, designed by Blake Stirling and Marco Martín, offers championship size course that has five tees for each hole – with each green having its own personality.

An 18-hole golf course, par 72, of American design and Scottish layout that will be a challenge and a delight for all kinds of players.

The hills integrated into the valley, the natural water courses and a small river that inter-connects five ponds, make these 18 holes a marvellous excuse to enjoy the open air and have fun together with other friends.

“In my view, this could be the best golf course on the Costa Blanca – it’s in my top three, but falls short due to holes 16 and 17 which are both par 3s. It seems like they needed about another 200 metres of land at that end of the course! Every hole is a different challenge to the one before, you start by playing down the valley and then return up the valley until those two par 3s and then you have a nice downhill stroll on 18 to the clubhouse. This course rewards the straight hitter more than the long hitter – except for a few long carries from some tees. If you are still in doubt, I once recommended this course to a Swedish tour pro on Twitter, he played it and loved it!”

My first visit and on driving into the course (beware its not easy to find!) my first impressions were WOW. It looked fantastic. However, the condition of the course and greens (especially on the front nine) was awful. Clearly the investors had in mind creating a residential golf community like the very successful creation at Alenda just 3.5 Kms away, but not a single home has been built. Very sad, and unfortunately this course looks on borrowed time!

The course was good, but our round took 5.5 hours. A bunch before us played bestball. Course was challenging and fun to play.
