Course Description

El Valle Golf, a medium-length, par-71 golf course, is situated in a beautiful natural desert valley. The golf course is routed in a ‘core” format that groups several holes together while keeping the surrounding development on the perimeter. This means many holes border other golf holes and not houses, creating a more open and natural golf experience.

Rather than length, the course relies on numerous subtle strategic elements to challenge golfers. This course puts a premium on accuracy, not power, and favors the intelligent player who can manage his or her game.

A desert style course set in more natural desert style terrain than the other courses in the area. It is set in a resort, but the property does not impose on the course. It has a few tight challenging holes with thick desert grasses and water coming into play as well, but it gives a fair challenge and is definitely worth playing. Probably the best of the Polaris world courses in the Murcia area, and definitely worth playing.

I like El Valle. A testing little course that has something for all handicaps and is quite scenic considering it is in the middle of nowhere! The course was in good nick and the greens were treacherous with no quarter given if you managed to put the ball in the wrong place – no more so than the 8th which is a lovely hole – as is the scenic par 4 11th which is drivable from the elevated tee. Overall, we liked El Valle more than Hacienda and certainly better than La Torre.

A golf course out of a picture book. You feel like in a real Western. Perfectly integrated into the landscape with numerous special discounts provoking astonishment. To play with brains pays off. Great club restaurant with views of the square and the Mar Menor. All in all a great experience.
