Course Description

Saurines de la Torre Golf is an 18 holes par 72 desert style golf course with influences of the Nicklaus golf course in Lake, Las Vegas. Its main characteristics are undulating fairways and greens among desert dunes, few bunkers and a great 6 hectare lake. Holes 9 and 18 go around the lake, which guarantees an exciting final.

A desert style course in good condition for the height of summer. Maybe a few too many desert style mounds in the middle of the fairways, but they were not too punitive. The surroundings were not too good with incomplete / unoccupied properties bordering some parts of the course. Our biggest problem was finding the course – it was in a complex with a different name (Terrazas del Torre), and there were no direction signs anywher, and it does not show up in either google maps or on SatNav. After being totally lost we got directions from another golf resort. However – it was worth the effort as the course is definitely worth playing.

A souless course in the middle of a half built complex. The course was strips of grass surrounded by gravel. The facilities were poor, portakabin. Would not want to play again. Only saving grace lovely weather!!

It is very impressive to play this course with desert character. The fairways were strongly undulating in perfect condition, so that one had to look many times the ball had come in fairway wells to rest. The greens were quite excellent and increased. Not infrequently, that too short or too long shots are wanted down again. The scorecards are incidentally also made very nice. Only criticism: Little water in the lakes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. But you should know in advance that there is no club house in the usual sense. But the place is worthwhile in any case.
